Welcome to Corbec Farm, proud home to over a quarter century of Golden Retriever experience. Corbec Farm is located on a horse farm nestled in the hills of New York State’s Southern Tier. Here the Dual Purpose Golden Retriever is still being bred. The Corbec Dog is a balanced dog, balanced in structure, temperament and ability.A Corbec dog has all of the qualities that are desirable in a pet Golden or a competition dog. They have health; soundness in structure and temperament; longevity in their ancestry; intelligence; trainability; athletic ability and beauty.
The ensuing years with our dogs have brought us great joy as we have trained and competed in obedience, conformation and tracking. We also dabbled at the elementary stages of field work. Our varied and delightful journey has brought us down a path to pursue and preserve the Hallmark qualities of the Golden Retriever through breeding, including proper type and soundness. We seek to produce dogs of robust health and longevity, thinking brains and biddable temperament. To accomplish our goals we blend carefully considered bloodlines from English/British/European and Old American pedigrees.
All of our Golden Retrievers at Southwind Kennels are house dogs. While they spend most of their time
playing in the fields and woods which surround our home, several of our Golden Retrievers are Therapy
Dogs. Some of the Goldens hunt, are learning to Track and others show in Obedience competitions. Our
dogs are multi talented excelling in obedience and fieldwork, while some think they should only be
required to lounge around all day and look pretty!
We strive to produce Goldens that are sound in health and mind and can excel in any competitive venue. But foremost our Goldens will provide any family as a wonderful treasured companion.

Glenfinnan Farms was established in 1989 and since 1990 we have been breeding Goldens.We strive to produce Goldens of Quality and Soundness.Our important goal is to match the right puppy to its new Family!
All of our dogs pass OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) clearances for Hip and Elbow, along with comprehensive heart and eye testing before they are bred. We have chosen our dogs from health-tested and champion bloodlines to produce the healthiest and happiest puppy for your family.
As a breeder of Golden Retrievers, my goal is to breed puppies that are of sound health, excellent temperament,and in keeping with the AKC standards of the breed. My puppies are born and raised in my home with constant supervision and care. They are played with and socialized daily in preparing them to be excellent family pets.I am a member of the GRCA and follow its guidelines.
We only breed family friendly dogs. We specialize in Golden Retrievers, Shiba-Inus and hybrid mix designer dogs such as Golden Doodles. Our puppies are greatly loved, friendly, and cuddly. This is not merely a business. We love our puppies and their parents
