Here at Southern Shades Kennel, we strive to produce healthy quality pups with the temperament that is so desired in a golden! With careful selection of top Multi-champion European import lines, we feel we have some of the best bloodlines available in the U.S. We are a small hobby breeder in Tennessee and our passion is only golden retrievers and our goal is to continue to improve the Golden Retriever Breed Standard. Although we do not enter the show ring ourselves, many of our dogs are show worthy.
We offer, AKC World Champion Bloodline American and Canada Golden Retrievers. A champion pedigree gives you the assurance that our puppies will have the temperament and health that the Golden Retriever is so famous for. “Top” breeders breed with only the betterment of the breed in mind! We provide families with goldens that are top quality, well socialized, healthy, intelligent and temperament tested.
Our puppies are born & raised inside our home. Our puppies receive LOTS of daily socialization & are handled from the day they arrive. Each litter of puppies we raise has a full veterinarian exam along with age appropriate vaccines prior to leaving our home.
Princeton Golden Retrievers is located on a small mountain overlooking the city of Princeton, West Virginia. We have been breeding Golden Retrievers for over 20 years and have traveled thousands of miles through the years to achieve excellent champion bloodlines with outstanding health and temperaments. We also have a total of 67 champions on pedigrees, consisting of national and international champions.
