We are not the largest, nor one of the most “famous” Golden Retriever kennel, but we believe that we breed quality dogs, within the Golden standard.Our focus is not exclusively on conformation, but producing the all-around Golden that can excel in all they were bred to do, without losing focus on excellent temperaments, health, and still remaining competitive in the confirmation ring.
Iron Hill Retrievers is located in the beautiful rolling hills of Eastern Iowa, close to Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. We are a small breeder of English Type Labradors and Golden Retrievers. Breeding quality Labs in black, chocolate and yellow, ranging from light cream to fox red. Our puppies are raised in our home with lots of love and care. Iron Hill Retrievers possess true temperaments, very laid-back and gentle in the home, but love the outdoors and the opportunity to hunt if required.

We are a high quality Golden Retriever breeder and show kennel located on six acres on the scenic Wisconsin River in South Central Wisconsin, between Portage and Wisconsin Dells. We have a long history with the Golden Retriever breed, beginning back in 1978 when we purchased our first Golden Retriever for a family pet and hunting dog. We are committed to producing Golden Retrievers with sound structure and that great Golden temperament.
We breed for the primary purpose: improve the breed. We always strive to breed a better dog than what we already have. Breeding itself if enormously challenging; the purposes need to be clear from the start, and much thought and consideration goes into each breeding.
We believe that the best way to raise a puppy is to give them the love, care and respect that they deserve. We will always be available to our puppy owners for the life of the puppy (we have ‘Puppy Parties’ too) and we would be glad to help with any questions you may have about raising your dog naturally.
Hyline Golden Retrievers, nationally known and respected, was established in 1986. The kennel prefix “HYLINE” has permanent registration entitlement for historical significance. Hyline Kennels is dedicated to producing the highest line of Golden Retrievers; thus the prefix “Hyline” is a constant reminder of my purpose in breeding. My personal dogs compete mainly in conformation for American and Canadian Championships.
We are a Christian family and firmly believe in giving back for the blessings we receive! Either a puppy is donated to a Service Dog organization, or at least 10% gross profit of each litter is donated to a charitable organization such as Life Promotions, Heifer International, World Vision and Covenant House. As much as I love my dogs, I love people even more, and we focus on how our dogs can enhance the lives of the people they touch! My goal is to produce healthy, friendly, beautiful dogs that are easy to train and have moderate to lower energy levels.
Since 1976, Xanthos Golden Retrievers, located in Southeastern Wisconsin in Milwaukee, has been a breeder of award-winning, champion Golden Retrievers. Xanthos Golden Retrievers have produced quality breeding “as good as gold.” Our breedings are currently working in obedience, agility, field and conformation. All breeding dogs have hip, elbow, eye and heart clearances. Our puppies are AKC registered, temperament tested and fully guaranteed!

Here at Sunset Goldens we are not a breeding kennel facility, we are a network of friends sharing the same philosophy that dogs, breeding or not, deserve to live in a loving home. Our puppies are not strictly family pets, many have become ambassadors for the breed by being part of the foundation for the Lutheran Church Charities Comfort Dog Program. Others have been raised as therapy dogs and service dogs, helping people with disabilities.
